Spam at RSS (file format)

edit

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in RSS (file format). Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Globe Feeds

edit

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. You are, however, encouraged to add appropriate content to the encyclopedia. If you feel the material in question should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. yandman 09:57, 22 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Reversions

edit

I'm sorry, but the version you keep reverting to is badly written, and serves only to advertise your site. Moreover, the concept in itself is not notable enough to warrant its own article. I've mentioned RSS directories in "Web directory", and redirected to that article. Please don't try to use Wikipedia for self-promotion, as this could lead to your company and its page being blacklisted from all wikimedia sites. Thankyou. yandman 09:59, 22 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thin ice

Please stop. If you continue to use Wikipedia to advertise you will be blocked from editing. yandman 10:15, 22 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speedy tags

edit

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please do the following:

  1. Place {{hangon}} on the page. Please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag(s).
  2. Make your case on the article's talk page.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. --AbsolutDan (talk) 13:48, 22 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
