February 2011 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Spliced (TV series), please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. There is no need to list every single one-shot character on the show. Please limit it only to the major characters. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Otters want attention) 04:35, 23 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Spliced (TV series). Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. ANI notice edit

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. --Alan the Roving Ambassador (talk) 20:57, 23 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • Also, regarding the Spliced article... please state on the talk page, Talk:Spliced (TV series), why you think the information should stay. You and I are involved in a content dispute, and it's important that you voice your opinion in such a case. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Otters want attention) 21:05, 23 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

I have listed why at least some of the information should stay ...repeatedly! And I also have asked Tenpoundhammer to edit as needed the section, but not delete it all just for his own preference. Instead he deletes other peoples inputs, Edits my talk, and makes erronius posts about my contibutions.

Please do not add unsourced content, as you did to Spliced (TV series). This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Otters want attention) 13:16, 25 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • Just thought I'd let you know that a search for "Alligaturtle", "Batdrills" and many of these other names turned up absolutely nothing on Google. It would seem that you're making up the names yourself, and that's not allowed — it's called original research. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Otters want attention) 15:27, 25 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Since you didn't read my previous messages apparently, GET YOUR INFORMATION RIGHT! I did not contribute either of those characters you listed! Don't "Accuse" me of something I had not originally posted. As I stated before, you are deleting the input of several contributors. By the way, you said "Many", not all of the characters. And as I stated many are mentioned by name in the show. I did not "make up" any of those names as you say. Girloveswaffles

  • Adding it isn't helping any more than my removing it is. Seriously, go back and look at them — which ones are relevant to the plot? Wunny Sharbit, a couple others, maybe. The background characters are not, so at the least those should be removed. So should Aperitif since his appearance is already mentioned in the episode. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Otters want attention) 21:59, 26 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning; the next time you violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by inserting unpublished information or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at Spliced (TV series), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Restoring all of your content isn't helping in any way. There may be valid entries in what you're adding, but the majority of it is original research. Don't draw your own conclusions on articles. Edit war edit

Hello. You appear to be involved in an edit war on Spliced (TV series). While the three-revert rule is hard and fast, please be aware that you can be blocked for edit warring without making 3 reverts to an article in 24 hours. You are not entitled to 3 reverts and are expected to cooperatively engage other editors on talk pages rather than reverting their edits. Note that posting your thoughts on the talk page alone is not a license to continue reverting. You must reach consensus. Continued edit warring may cause you to be blocked. Toddst1 (talk) 19:04, 27 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Your editing privileges have been suspended for 31 hours edit

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

31 hours is my standard vandalism block, but I should note that terming a long time contributor a vandal - and one that has been attempting to communicate with you - may be considered a personal attack. The Wikipedia way is to discuss concerns, and to come to a consensus over the best or most appropriate way of editing and not engage in edit wars. Request reason:

Please look at the time between the "last Warning" and my last post. The last warning came up while I was editing, so I did not see it.

User tenpundhammer has been repeatedly deleting my input / edits of the Spliced (TV Series) article. He has been deleting previous input from other contributors as well. I have asked him repeatedly to stop the mass deletion of information, and to just edit the section as needed, but he will not work to help any errors that may be in the article. He has also edited my edits on the talk section (please look back several edits). He has made erroneous posts about my edits, and claimed that information that was posted in the article was mine, even though it was posted long before I joined. he as been unwilling to help edit the minor character information. His clim is that none of the minor characters should be listed, even thou they may appear in multiple episodes, and has deleted information on guest voice actors (mostly not my posts) that have voiced these characters because they are one shot characters (which he is in error of on most accounts). He has stated that because he cannot find information on "Any" of these characters on he web, they are not valid, even when other contributors have sited specific episodes on which these characters are mention by name, or appear more than once. I have been trying to update this information, and have asked him to help edit as well instead of doing a mass deletion. He continually refuses.

User Tenpoundhammer has admitted that he has only seen a few episodes of the show Spliced (Which I have seen all of and have recorded), but feels that he knows more about the show that the information I have posted, and have sited which episodes the info comes from and continues to delete / edit my posts even when I have pointed out where he is in error. Please look at his "Edits". You will find he is the one doing the Vandalism. ~~Girloveswaffles~~

Decline reason:

You seem not to understand our sourcing requirements at all. It doesn't matter what you've seen on a TV show; it doesn't matter what other people say they've seen on a TV show. We can't include the use of a name (for example) unless a reliable source has included the name. Please also take a look at WP:NOTTHEM; the problem isn't the other editor's behavior, it is yours. --jpgordon::==( o ) 17:02, 28 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

P.S. i think wikipedia is beginning to suck, there are definately people who are really peeved off at wikipedia. Sclera2 (talk) 08:24, 9 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
