The article FiveKnuckles has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Five Knux edit

I understand the problem, I run my own sports website, and there is a VERY fine line on what you can and cannot put on Wikipedia. Its irritating and fustrating. Odd that I cannot interveiw a fighter and put on any information I gather on here on wiki, you cannot go to my webpage and post it here (as my webpage is not considered credible) but If my article is ran by the Newspaper, THEN it can be posted. - by someone else. (see Wikipedia:No_original_research)

I have a MAJOR problem with Wiki's inclusion of Sherdog as the be-all end all as it comes to MMA on the web, but that fight I have been fighting since day 1. I'm not trying to dissuade you from editing or adding but the bottom line here is if they can;t get it from Sherdog, UFC or a print publication. Its a BEAR trying to get it on here. Worst part of it is, If you start throwing up FK up here when you edit- some people on here are going to wipe everything you write both good and bad.

My advice? Stick with the basics, let someone else you do NOT know, that has no connection to you, add stuff from your site (or better yet Yahoo), there is less a chance of it getting reverted. Then eventually you might get recocgnised as a "legit" source, and everything will be as it should be.

Irritating I know, but thats why we have our own websites :-)

anything I can do, Let me know. David.snipes (talk) 00:50, 26 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
