First and foremost, welcome to Wikipedia!
With regards to my revert of your edit, I would like to bring up that Template:Election box turnout no change appears on many pages (see here) and your edit disrupted the format that was being used. I (and other editors) use use Template:Election box turnout no change to display only voter turnout. To display the total number of votes, Template:Election box total no change is used. This article is an example of how these templates are used. Furthermore, all the "no change" election box templates were created last year after a discussion (see here) I had with another editor and, therefore, differ somewhat from the regular election box templates. – Zntrip 21:17, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
