Yasmine

edit

You are clearly enthusiastic about Yasmine's article. It certainly needs more reliable references to establish notability. Adding an unformatted list of journal names and dates really does not count as "providing reliable references" and I will revert this addition which makes the article look poorly written. If the source is online, I have completed an example of how to use the cite templates to provide a nicely formatted reference. If the source is offine, you should learn in particular how to use {{cite journal}} or {{cite book}} or whatever. Particularly if the source is offline, you need to provide page numbers if at all possible, and provide inline references so it is clear which reference supports which fact in the article. If I were writing this article and relying on offline references, I would supply selected quotes to demonstrate the relevance of the references to the reviewers without access to the original. I will follow this post with a standard welcome which provides some useful links. --Mirokado (talk) 21:36, 15 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Welcome

edit

Hello, Gamzatti, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may be removed if they have not yet been. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. As well, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  Mirokado (talk) 21:37, 15 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Yasmine Naghdi

edit

This article still needs better references--every accomplisment there needs a source, and at least some of them should be sources from other than the Ballet or the Ballet School, such as reviews of her performances from 3rd party independent published reliable sources, print or online, but not blogs or press releases, or material derived from press releases. Yasmine Naghdi

edit

Hi Gamzatti,

Thank you for your edits. I have reverted a few of your edits to the article Yasmine Naghdi, mostly based on style rules for capital letters. Please review the style manual section on job titles here if you have any questions. Dkreisst (talk) 17:56, 22 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi Gamzatti, I have again reverted some of your capitalizations. Please review the manual of style through the link above. Dkreisst (talk) 08:12, 15 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
Your latest edit to this article has again introduced incorrect capitalisation as well as other changes which were not improvements. I will revert all the changes which are contrary to WP:MOS. Please stop making such changes. Continuing to make them after you have been asked nicely, three times now, to stop will be regarded as unconstructive. --Mirokado (talk) 20:45, 4 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Yasmine Naghdi, 2019

edit

Hi Gamzatti,

I've, again, removed the excessive capitalization added through your edits to the article Yasmine Naghdi. Please read this helpful explanation to understand when and when not to capitalize. Further, the tone of the article has become too much like a resume and less like an encyclopedia article. I've added a flag to the top of the page to indicate this. Please direct your energy towards making this article more well-rounded. Dkreisst (talk) 21:31, 27 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
