Request reason:

im creating a page of a pro boxer

Decline reason:

There is no indication of the notability of this individual...and your username strongly suggests that you are the boxer in question. This is a violation of the site's conflict-of-interest rules. Not only that, all of your edits to date have been about this boxer. This is generally viewed as promotional and is also disallowed here. Even if you weren't this person, he does not meet the notability requirements for inclusion; another user proposed this for deletion for a total lack of verifiable information. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

he is my dad and i just wanted to make a wikipedia. How can i make one without it being deleted?

Decline reason:

I am declining your request for unblock because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    • understand what you have been blocked for,
    • will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    • will make useful contributions instead.

Please read our guide to appealing blocks for more information.  Sandstein  06:20, 8 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Move of Raúl González edit

Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Raúl González (Mexican boxer). This includes making page moves while a discussion remains under way. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you.

If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Raúl González (Mexican boxer), you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 04:00, 18 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Raúl González (Mexican boxer). Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Links to Myspace and similar social networking sites are not appropriate. —C.Fred (talk) 15:24, 30 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

File:RAULGONZALEZ3.jpg edit

Hi GONZALEZ 1966, I've deleted this image as it is clearly captured from a video or TV broadcast—not your image to release under a free licence. This is not an obvious aspect of copyrighte, please see - derivative work - Peripitus (Talk) 12:54, 18 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Raúl page move edit

Hey, please keep WP:ENGLISH and WP:COMMONNAME in mind. In English media, Raúl is commonly known as "Raúl" or "Raúl Gonzánlez", not "Raúl Gonzánlez Blanco". "Raúl Gonzánlez Blanco" is mentioned in the intro and as redirect, so there's no need to name the article that. Let me know if you have any questions. --Mosmof (talk) 04:28, 5 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
