Culture Map

edit

Hi. I reverted your new article which you rewrote over an existing one. Firstly, this is not the right procedure when you have a new topic to write about for which there is an existing page - you should have disambiguated the name such that both pages can exist - e.g., naming your article CultureMap (company), which doesn't currently exist. Secondly, the article you created is not really up to Wikipedia standards, containing some promotional material and not providing enough sources. I suggest you try re-creating your article over at Articles for Creation and going through the review process there to get your article in a good state before publishing. Your version of this article is here, so you can copy it to somewhere appropriate. If you've any questions re: the above, please give me a shout! Image source problem with File:Brigadier Phillip Ewans Milton.png

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Brigadier Phillip Ewans Milton.png.

This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.

While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright.

If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 21:35, 19 February 2017 (UTC). If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Train2104 (t • c) 21:35, 19 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please do not create, maintain or restore hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at Phillip Milton. Hoaxes are eligible for speedy deletion under criterion G3. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia — and then to correct them if possible. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can contribute constructively. Thank you.
