edit

Hello, I'm MrOllie. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added, because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Hi MrOllie. I received your message this afternoon and, as you might imagine, I was very disappointed in not only your action of reversing my work to improve the articles in question, but also your characterization of my edits as link spamming. The majority of my edits that you reversed were vast improvements to pages sorely lacking in information. Per your suggestion, I have reviewed the external link guidelines. In doing so, I did not find a basis to justify your action of reversing of my edits. Would you please explain why you believe your action was justified based on the guidelines you cited? Adding unencyclopedic lists of subject names as a fig leaf for adding links to 'free' sites that are designed to feed customers to mometrix media in every single edit your single purpose account makes are not the hallmarks of 'vast improvements', they have the appearance of a textbook case of link spamming. Since you say you are not a link spammer, I suggest you demonstrate your intention to improve the encyclopedia (and not to promote a particular company) by branching out and sourcing some content to sites that are unrelated to mometrix. - MrOllie (talk) 01:40, 15 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
