Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at Talk:List of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic characters, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

You can customize your signature in your preferences, but if you didn't, it will be similar to the one in the example.

I'd also like to remind you to thread responses by indenting. Indentation shows that a post is a reply to another one. Add a colon to the beginning of a line to indent it. For example:

Dear Matt

I am a huge fan of your story. If you are indeed the author of "A wish come true", I want to thank you for writing a story which I consider the best FIM fanfic ever. Your story is slow paced, allowing for the characters to have more story, even having more development in Spike and Rarity's relationship, by having him stand up to Prince Blueblood and her watching him doing that (which is how she knows of Spike's crush on her in "Secret of My Excess"). (Which is something the writers on the show had never done back in season 2). Spike X Rarity was a real thing for me. I loved this couple to death and could think of little else all day. They were very important to me, and will always be.

For me, your fanfic (amongst other strong narrative fanfics) goes to show that fans of the show can write much more powerful better stories than any of the writers on the show. The combination of character, relationship and, through interaction(including the Spike/Rarity moments), make you have a connection to the characters that you can't get in any way on the show.

I honestly feel that anybody who just either dismiss stories made by fans as mind numbing and shallow entertainment are missing out on so much.
