Please note that for many marginally notable scientists (e.g. those that meet WP:SCHOLAR but lack significant coverage in third party sources), their Wikipedia articles can come to uncomfortably resemble CVs, Linked-in pages, or official staff profiles. Wikipedia's purpose is to inform, not promote. Excessive lists of publications, especially with focal author in bold (a format seen primarily in CVs and resumes), can be seen as promotional. My advice is to be conservative when faced with a shortage of secondary sources, and perhaps only mention publications that merit in-text discussion (e.g. books): there is nothing inherently noteworthy about academics publishing articles.
