Okahao is a town in the Omusati Region of northern Namibia and the district capital of the Okahao electoral constituency. It is situated in the Ongandjera tribal area 73 kilometers west of Oshakati on the main road MR123 (Outapi - Tsandi - Okahao).
The area around Okahao is flat, arable land which is mainly used for subsistence farming.
Okahao has an airstrip (ICAO code: FYOH,[1] IATA code: none) Okahao has a clinic ,one state hospital, one private Okahao medical clinic, it has two types of bank facility first national bankandstandard bank and lots of cashloans. It has a Community library Okahao community librarywhere people can make copies, send fax and use the internet, but they also train people on how to use computer for free.Circuit Inspector Office which is on the other side of the road that goes in the hospital,Okahao Police Station and a prison to keep bad. In this town one can find almost all the basic needs that one can't survive without.

Uukwandongo village
editThis is a village which is few kilometer from Okahao town in Omusati. Cucashop can be found in this village and churchUukwandongo church. In this village is where you can find the king of Ongandjera and there is one combined school Uukwandongo combined school. kindergarten which is in the same fence as the church.
This village doesn't have access to any bank facility,hospital or clinic. People can only go at Okahao town or Etilyasa for treatment.Friedah (talk) 06:17, 7 October 2011 (UTC)
