October 2012 edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one of your recent edits has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

MediaCorp Vasantham edit

Hi, FreeliteJB. Thanks for taking the time to help out on Wikipedia articles. I'd like to point you to one of the policies that form the framework under which we operate. Please read WP:Verifiability; specifically as it relates to your edit summary here. The content we add to the article mainspace nees to be drawn from reliable, secondary sources (see WP:Identifying reliable sources). As editors, we are not to insert content based on our personal experience or observation. I'll watchlist this talk page in the event you have any questions. Regards Tiderolls 23:33, 7 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • Follow up. It appears that you have misunderstood my message. Please read WP:Identifying reliable sources. A picture of your television displaying your content is not a reliable source; it is simply a different version of your personal observation. Tiderolls 04:42, 8 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Message from XLinkBot edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page MediaCorp Vasantham has been reverted.
Your edit here to MediaCorp Vasantham was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://i47.tinypic.com/5n2brc.jpg, http://i47.tinypic.com/5n2brc.jpg) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 04:25, 8 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm XLinkBot. I wanted to let you know that I removed an external link you added to the page MediaCorp Vasantham, because it seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you.

Please stop edit

I'm now having trouble believing your edits are mistakes. I have directed you to the relevant policies and offer my help. However, you are continuing to insert sources that are unaccepable. Please stop. Ask for help or clarification. Tiderolls 05:02, 8 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Note edit

You may check this Youtube video at this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2ud7kvD3bE, as it is the video that shows Vasantham closedown. (FreeliteJB (talk) 05:10, 8 October 2012 (UTC))Reply

Generally, YouTube is not considered a reliable source as there is no editorial oversight. Please understand that I am not accusing you of being untruthful, the fact is that for content to be added to the encyclopedia it must be independently verifiable. Tiderolls 05:13, 8 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
I know it and I would seek for verification. (FreeliteJB (talk) 05:16, 8 October 2012 (UTC))Reply

Another important principle edit

To insure your contributions are constructive and helpful you need to familiarize yourself with WP:Bold, revert, discuss. While this is is an essay, it provides valuable guidance in the realm of collegial editing. When an edit you make is reverted, your next step is discussion. This discussion does not take place in the edit summary, as you did here, but on the article talk page. You may also approach the editor that reverted you on their user talk for discussion. It is important for this discussion to take place so that edit warring can be avoided (see WP:Edit war and WP:3RR). Please ask for help if any of these points are unclear. December 2012 edit

Hello, I'm AbigailAbernathy. I noticed that you recently removed some content from DiGi Telecommunications without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, A Wild Abigail Appears! Capture me. Moves. 03:22, 4 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
