Your message edit

Hi there, I got a similar message on an IP address assigned to this computer, regarding the same
article. This IP address is part of a network for a large city government in the Northeastern United
States which is open to many users and computers and I think rotates the address on each computer
periodically (or may have multiple computers with the same IP -I really don't know how it all works).
I've looked at the history of changes made by that particular IP address and saw a few pages that I
have changed personally (I've even seen some edits I have made which show a different IP address as
well) and many more that I most certainly have not touched or even looked at (IE: I was not the one
responsible for the vandalized/poorly edited pages (I'd never even been to the "cool" page) ~I think
the Public Schools and Public Library computers may be on the same network). Thanks for cleaning it
up and for your message because it inspired me to create my own account.
I'd guessed something like that must be going on. It's definitely a good plan to create an account. Welcome to Wikipedia (or, if you've already been on here a while, welcome to useraccountdom)! garik 18:49, 6 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
PS Please remember to sign your posts by simply writing ~~~~ at the end of your message. As you may or may not know, when you save the page, that transforms itself into your username plus date and time. Like this: garik 18:51, 6 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
