Edit summaries

You're doing great work on UCLA, but can you consider using edit summaries? There's information on them here: Help:Edit summary. Thanks... — alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 00:38, 6 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello Alf laylah wa laylah,
Thanks for the advice. Actually, I am already using edit summaries for non-trivial edits to the UCLA article. Please refer to the history page for the UCLA article to observe my edit summaries. [1] FlopsyPlum (talk) 00:50, 6 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited University of California, Los Angeles, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Frank Pearce (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to University of California, Los Angeles, it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, reduces edit conflicts, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thank you. Corky | Chat? 21:38, 29 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello Corky,
Yes, I do use the Preview button before I save.
FlopsyPlum (talk) 21:42, 29 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
My point was make all of the edits you are making in as few edits as you can. Constantly hitting the save and going to a new section fills up the history page like it says. Corky | Chat? 21:51, 29 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
Okay, makes sense.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
