Lakeshade; I think it is quite possible that the source in question (Vena) is mistaken regarding the song's lyrics. Perusing online, I haven't been able to find any other evidence of the lyrics excluding the word 'technique'. While this is a concern to bring up on the talk page, I think it is safe to presume Fissionprime's edit was made in good faith. Your thoughts? Arbitrarily0 (talk) 03:45, 18 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Unfortunately the author has made a mistake in the lyrics, but we cannot change the lyrics or it is a violation of WP:OR which violate WP:GA policy which all her articles are (or will be soon). You're an admin and know Wikipedia is written based on what can be sourced, not truth. I never disputed that the corrections where made in goodfaith, but they were still incorrect (which is why level 1 was issued) - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 03:52, 18 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Undoubtedly! But as you know, we take great care in cordiality towards our newcomers, and so I must confide that the bolded statement trailing your notice reads rather harshly (not that this was intentional). Nevertheless, it seems that Fissionprime brings up a query worthy of attention - while the quotation itself shouldn't be altered, identifying it as mistaken is hardly original research, considering the overwhelming amount of evidence. Here is the first place to start. Regards mate, Arbitrarily0 (talk) 20:19, 18 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
