A Question edit

If you don't mind me asking, what exactly are you trying to do here on Wikipedia? Dayewalker (talk) 18:01, 3 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi edit

Yes? Is there something you want? Adambro (talk) 18:02, 3 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please stop now. People are likely to get annoyed. Adambro (talk) 18:08, 3 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

I can't say hi to everyone

Decline reason:

Not if that's the only reason you're here. While I'm sure you don't mean any harm, Wikipedia isn't a social networking site like Myspace or Facebook; we're an encyclopedia. Please spend your three-hour block reviewing some of our policies, specifically What Wikipedia is not. If you have any questions about how something here works, feel free to add a {{helpme}} tag below this message along with your question. Hersfold (t/a/c) 18:17, 3 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

April 2009 edit

Regarding your comments on User talk:Dayewalker: Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 19:39, 8 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi!

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. If you would like to help write the encyclopedia, you're welcome to participate. You're free to say hi to other editors if it's part of the work of writing the encyclopedia: we can be friendly while we work. WP:User page for example explains that the material we write, even on user pages and talk pages, has to have something to do with writing the encyclopedia. There are other websites for just being friendly.

For ideas of things you can do here, see the "help out" section of the Community portal. I hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! And I'm glad you're friendly. You can say hi to me on my talk page if you like, or ask me questions about Wikipedia. Coppertwig (talk) 19:49, 8 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
