Thank you.

The article Realbuzz.com has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 12:08, 13 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Realbuzz.com

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Realbuzz.com requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 16:23, 19 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Your hangon rationale

edit

Please note that Wikipedia, as an encyclopedia, cannot accept articles about companies or other entities that do not meet minimal inclusion guidelines. It is not enough that your company exists: you must also show that it has been the subject of non-trivial coverage in third-party references generally deemed reliable. Hope this helps you understand the deletion rationale. -- Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 16:48, 19 January 2010 (UTC) Thank you very much for taking the time to reply. I will see what I can do. Can you let me know why all the links to blogs have been taken down?
See above: "you should avoid or exercise great caution when ... linking to the ... website of your organization". It goes without saying that Wikipedia is not a vehicle for promoting redbuzz.com. MER-C 05:15, 8 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

i felt that having read your guidelines on links to external websites that links to a individuals blog that provides insightful information should be Ok. The blogs are written by the individuals and are not a way of promoting realbuzz.com. In the terms of linking stated on Wikipedia it asks - Is the site content accessible to the reader - yes. Is the site content proper in the context of the article - yes. Is the link functional? Yes. I would really appreciate a fuller response as I have read all your guidelines and felt that this should be accepted as a external link. Thanks for your help. FG

What makes the links inappropriate is that you, on behalf of Realbuzz, added links to realbuzz.com. I won't object if someone not affiliated with Realbuzz reverts me. My concern, given that you have made no other edits except relating to Realbuzz and your role in the company, is that you are using Wikipedia as a means for promotion. Therefore, I strongly recommend you make some edits completely unrelated to Realbuzz. MER-C 13:24, 8 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
