If you have an issue with an article, please see the page WP:OTRS about contacting Wikimedia. -- Ed (Edgar181) 11:23, 2 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Post an OTRS query I have reviewed the article and the editing history and consider that the 'vandalism' here is actually being carried out by the article's creator (User:Bibiqueen together with User:Tamsin jones (which may be a sockpuppet), indeed both these accounts have solely attacked the article on this actor/playwright and made a number of unfounded accusations which clearly break BLP rules and could be libellous. I have copyedited the article concerned for the BLP issues and will pay close attention to what I see happening on the article in future. Whilst it could appear that User:Femi Oguns was 'vandalising' the Femi Oguns article (and was thus banned) I consider that he was trying to protect his good name and may be unbanned without further issues. --AlisonW (talk) 15:06, 2 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
User is blocked, not banned, and there is no unblock request pending. See further comments at User_talk:AlisonW#Comments_regarding_banning_of_User:Femi_Oguns. Any unilateral action should be taken by User:AlisonW who is familiar with the details of a WP:OTRS request.--Doug.(talk contribs) 16:19, 2 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, yes, re status my mistake in reading / writing wrong term applicable.—Preceding unsigned comment added by AlisonW (talkcontribs) 16:24, 2 April 2008

Femi Oguns

edit

Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article Femi Oguns, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
