I'm sorry if the English wiki isn't the best place to write to you but I assumed you would be checking this account. As for the edit you performed on the image, you haven't done a bad job but I hope you realise the encyclopaedic implications of it. You have manipulated the reality of the scene. The original image might not be as pretty as if it were clean, but the image I took is the reality of the scene. If you want to upload the image to commons, I think it is only fair to viewers that you comment in the image description that it has been manipulated, even if that change is minor. As for overwriting, I don't think that should happen. It should remain as a separate file as it isn't merely an aesthetic change, it is a change of content.
