I would say that the economic data provided by largest employers data is more important for small towns like Dixon, as there is less available information. The information is the most current available, and captures three companies headquartered in Dixon and four with significant operations there, as well as the closed Kragen Auto Parts operation. More up-to-date data will be released in the next few months; until then, I would prefer to have the existing data than no data at all.
