Speedy deletion nomination of Aerox Skywalker

edit

A tag has been placed on Aerox Skywalker requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Removing Speedy at Aerox Skywalker

edit

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles you created, as you did with Aerox Skywalker. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please do the following:

  1. Place {{hangon}} on the page. Please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag(s).
  2. Make your case on the article's talk page.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 13:21, 29 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of UnleashedTeam

A tag has been placed on UnleashedTeam requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Articles for deletion nomination of OTServ

edit

I have nominated OTServ, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/OTServ. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. noq (talk) 12:12, 30 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. A page you recently created may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it will shortly be removed (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Your first article. You may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. Please stop creating redirects from article space to your user page. This is inappropriate. Wikipedia and you

edit

Wikipedia is not a free webhost. You have now created articles promoting your WoW server, and redirects from articles named with your various alias's on WoW to your userpage, which is strictly against Wikipedia's rules about cross-namespace redirects. I won't bother to explain that since you supposedly are a coder who runs his own MU Gameserver, but if I'm wrong and you have no clue what I'm talking about ask, and I will explain.

Speaking of explaining, please explain to me why I should not indefinitely block you; you've done nothing productive here and seem to be intent on writing about your own WoW experiences and nothing else. KillerChihuahua?!? 12:28, 30 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for File:Screamingbloody.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Screamingbloody.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fezmar9 (talk) 18:45, 12 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Question – I notice you have requested this image to be deleted on the file's talk page. To speed up the deletion process, it would be helpful for me to know if this is actually the cover art for a Sum 41 album, or if this was an image that you yourself have created. Thanks!
