Welcome to Wikipedia edit

I see that no one has welcomed you to Wikipedia, so let me do so. I see from your edits that you know you way around the Wikipedia quite a bit, and that you know to sign your talk page contributions using four tildes (~~~~). But, just in case, here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I do hope that you continue to like it here, and continue to contribute quality edits. I watched part of one of the UAE documentary videos, and it wasn't too POV. Just a reminder if you are connected with Film Numud, to take a look at the guidelines for Editors who may have a conflict of interest. Again, welcome, and feel free to ask me anything on my talk page. --Bejnar (talk) 06:26, 20 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Keith Preston (anarchist) edit

Could you share with me, or better yet at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Keith Preston (anarchist) what references you found that were to reliable independent sources that caused you to change your opinion of the notability of the topic of the article? The cited sources I found were either 1) connected to Keith Preston, or by him, 2) not reliable sources or 3) didn't mention him. Thanks. --Bejnar (talk) 06:26, 20 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello. I just Googled "Keith Preston" and checked the results. I think they certainly establish person's notability. Many articles written by him or mentioning him are available online on popular sources. Faisal 1918 (talk) 21:47, 23 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

October 2012 edit

Hello, I'm Gogo Dodo. I wanted to let you know that I removed an external link you added, because it seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 23:32, 29 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Re your message: I didn't answer your previous question because there was nothing to respond to. I have removed the links again because I do not feel that they provide a particular valuable contribution to the article. And not as the first or second link listed as you had with United States, United Kingdom, etc. The site is also just rehosting/reindexing other group's YouTube content, which is a form of search aggregation and is normally to be avoided. You are welcome to get another opinion on the matter if wish. Instead of a full RfC, you might consider a talk page post on a relevant article or a third opinion. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 16:28, 27 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
Re your message: It is not the number of films available, it the appropriateness of the content. If you wish, you are welcome to get a third opinion about the matter on the External Link Noticeboard. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 04:11, 5 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
