Hello, Fadesga. I am currently aiming to improve this article to good article status, but I have been wondering what kind of links I should add to this section. Right now, it has a link to AIIC’s website and a link to Routledge’s Translation Studies Portal, but interpreting is an extensive profession and science which deserves much more than that. Mnmh, I don't think that Merton of the Movies (novel) is a stub, as you asserted with this edit.
It is short, but it does provide a brief history, plot summary, list of versions in other media, bunch of refs, and links to book itself (where you can read the whole thing for free, or listen to it instead). According to the first sentence of WP:STUB, "A stub is an article deemed too short to provide encyclopedic coverage of a subject". The article is short but it covers the subject adequately.
Yes it could be expanded, but a lot article could be expanded. The plot section could be expanded, but we are cautioned against providing too much plot detail (see {{PLOT}}). As to the rest, there just isn't that much to say about this book. We could talk more about the circumstances under which Harry Leon Wilson wrote it, but he has his own article and that stuff might belong there.
