Miss Universe 2022

edit

Good day, I have been noticing your recent edits in Miss Universe 2022 have been very unconstructive, especially on the naming of the countries. Please note that regardless on what ot says on the country's sash, WP: COMMONNAME is to be followed, and with that please refrain from changing the names and even the alphabetical arrangement. This has been a common problem ever since, so since you are a new user you might be unaware. If you keep doing those edits, to warn you, you might lose your editing privileges. Thank you and good day once again. Milesq (talk) 23:35, 22 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

I think you got it all wrong about the alphabetical arrangement. I was just putting it back to where The Bahamas and South Korea were. B for The Bahamas and K for South Korea, according to Britannica.com. I was the one who sent the link to Wikipedia about the proper way of alphabetizing countries. Besides, Republic of Korea is its official name. Wikipedia has approved this so seeing other people messing with it made me want to intervene. Slovak Republic is the official name of Slovakia, and it's not about the sash. By saying that, I am guilty about Trinidad & Tobago. I don't edit things on Wikipedia to satisfy myself. It is to help. Have you seen the discussion at the article's talk page? Majority have decided that The Bahamas stays at 'B' and South Korea at 'S'. That is what has been agreed upon and thus should be followed. Good day. Milesq (talk) 07:05, 27 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Look at it now. I kept on correcting it (The Bahamas in B and S. Korea in K) and someone still manages to mess it up. And then someone from Wikipedia had the nerve to block me for correcting someone's mistake? FGVillamor (talk) 14:04, 5 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Bri. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Miss Universe 2022, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.

You added China without a source. WP:Verifiability is a policy and requires a source for additions like this. ☆ Bri (talk) 17:40, 1 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
