Hello anonymous person, my edit was quite intentional. I was not experimenting. Thank you for welcoming me to Wikipedia, but I am not a newcomer. I have been observing your edits, along with those of the anonymous person at Coventry University, for some time. If you are serious about your point of view, kindly create an identity for yourself instead of hiding behind anonymous IP address.

Your principal reference is from Krishna Ananth in the Hindu newspaper. However, he is not fully aware of the facts, and is prone to exaggeration about the roles of Tamils, being a Tamil himself.

There are many other citations that show little or no role for Naicker in the Vaikom struggle, considering it was in Travancore, which was not under the Madras Presidency. The struggle was led by local Malayalis, who were quite politically aware then as now.

Kindly do not let your respect for Naicker lead to excessive exaggeration of his importance to those in other parts of the country. Kerala is not an appendage to Tamil Nadu, and the Dravidian politics of Tamil Nadu has no resonance in Kerala.

Do not manipulate information

edit

Thanks for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your recent edit appears to have added incorrect information, and has been reverted or removed. All information in the encyclopedia must be verifiable in a reliable published source. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them. Thank you.   Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you.
