restored last version Eugene Gentlemen to your user space

edit

Katr67 (talk · contribs) thought Eugene Gentlemen had a lot of potential, so she asked me to retrieve it from the deleted articles. I've put it in your user space at user:Exjex/Eugene Gentlemen so you can address the concerns tagged on the page. If you don't want it, just add {{prod|don't want it}} to the top of it and someone will delete it. —EncMstr 20:05, 11 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

You can also use {{db-author}} to delete the page. Otherwise, if it is ready to be put back into main aricle space let me know and we'll make sure it gets moved properly. Happy editing! Katr67 (talk) 20:24, 11 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
A couple of other things should be noted: While the copyright violation was the primary reason for my tagging the article for deletion, there is also the question of whether the club is notable enough to merit inclusion in an encyclopedia. The guidelines for notability can be found here. Also (in reply to your note on the article talk page), remember that Wikipedia is first and foremost an encyclopedia, not an advertising medium, and the text of the article here should reflect this. Linking to the club's page elsewhere is perfectly fine, but the article itself should not be promotional in nature. Finally, there are collections of fellow rugby enthusiasts here which can be found at WikiProject Rugby League and WikiProject Rugby Union. These folks have far more experience in rugby-specific articles than Katr67 and I do, and they should be able to provide further help in making the article the best it can be. --Finngall talk 22:56, 12 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
