Jens Galschiøt

edit

Hi, the article you created is very large and largely unreferenced. I realise the person is notable for his part in the Hong Kong protests and I've added a reference to acknowledge this. It would help if you can provide references from reliable, third-party sources. Unreferenced material is subject to deletion at any time, which in this case would be most of the article. Please also note that Wikipedia is not a means of promotion. If you need help, the Wikipedia Help pages are extensive and searchable, so you should find them useful. Further comments

edit

Hi, Evilate, I've looked at the page and as requested am making a few comments. I'm doing this on your talk page because it will be easier for you to keep this from deletion (I clean up my talk page regularly).

  • Works for Awards section is currently unreferenced;
  • Pillar of Shame should only be wikilinked on the first occurrence;
  • "MST (the landless peasants movement)" source doesn't mention Galschiøt; a search on that site failed to find any material;
  • Please be careful when using Flickr, livevideo and similar user-published materials as they aren't really reliable and may only be used in certain circumstances.
  • Newspaper, magazine and other text sources are suitable and don't need to be online, although this is useful for verification;
  • The text will need some condensing, but this can be done when the article is more complete.

I think you've worked hard on this and deserve credit for finding sources; well done. :-) Baffle gab1978 (talk) 20:41, 26 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
