Fair use rationale for Image:Marllittleprincess2cover.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Marllittleprincess2cover.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Videmus Omnia 01:24, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

Unusual Adoption Request

Hi! Im an English teacher in Toluca Mexico (west of Mexico City). My Advanced B classes will be contributing to Wikipedia as the focus of their English course for Fall 2007. I am looking for people who would like to mentor my students (who will be working in groups) as they do the following assignments: Edit and article (adding a citation), writing a stub with a citation, translating an English language article for Spanish Wikipedia and for the final project, writing a full article for English Wiki (they can expand on the stub mentioned previously). What I would like to do is put a list of "mentors/adopters" on my talk page as a kind of short cut for my students, who have limited time to get things done. The semester begings Aug 6, but the real Wikipedia work wont begin until the beginning of Sept. If you would like to add your name to my list, please go to my talk page and add it there, perhaps with a short introduction, if you like.

Thank you!

Dragon Quest VI

Ah, okay. I didn't quite understand the exact issues, but yes, if that is the case I will certainly pass the article. Once you've trimmed some of the excess fluff from the Plot section, you can either reply on the talk page of the article or my talk page. Either one is fine. Regards, NSR77 TC 12:04, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

Looks good. Been busy lately with some concerts, but I'll promote the article tomorrow. NSR77 TC 02:55, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Dragonquest6.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Dragonquest6.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 15:25, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

Dragon Warrior 3

It'd be great if you could help improve Dragon Warrior III. I can't do much, because I just started the game on Friday, and I'm only at Zapangu (I'm about to fight Orochi), so I'm not sure I can help you much, but I'll do what I can. --MKnight9989 12:17, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

I'm not sure what to add. Any ideas? --MKnight9989 13:14, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
I'm thinking maybe we could start a section about things seen in Dragon Warrior III that appear in other dragon warrior/dragon warrior monster games. I've only beaten I, II, and Monsters, so I'll only be able to help with those games. --MKnight9989 13:16, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
I think it would probably work better as a list. Otherwise, the main section would become unduly long. I won't do anything until I get your feedback though. --MKnight9989 12:07, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
Now that I'm back from vacation, shall I help with this article, too? It's actually my favorite in the series, and I splurged and got a guide...I guess I shouldn't have admitted that one. Let me know if you want me to do some editing!--Fuen Fuboo 23:32, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
I'll agree to make it a paragraph as long as it doesn't go in the Main section. I feel that the main section is long enough, and it should have it's own. I'll write a few references right here in your talk page:
  • The spring in the 'North American' continent where you drop a weapon and the spirit bring up numerous weapons and items asking if they're yours is featured in Dragon Warrior Monsters.
  • The Tiny Medal system is also featured in Dragon Warrior Monsters.
  • The Lar Mirror is featured in Dragon Warrior II.
  • The Hero is given the title Loto, which brings closure to Dragon Warrior I and II.
  • In Dragon Warrior Monsters, you fight Orochi in an area similar to where you fight him in this game.
  • In Dragon Warrior II you must use the Rubiss Charm to end an allusion;in III, you must rescue Rubiss. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by MKnight9989 (talkcontribs) 12:26, August 20, 2007 (UTC).

666-chan, the Plot section of the article needs to be revamped or something. I didn't notice it until now, but it's really redundant. If you'd like me to help with references I can use my guide to the GBC version, but I can't help with the rewriting. I'm doing some major construction on one of the Lufia pages, and I'm also working on the Luminous Arc page as I go--you should make the other kid do it. XD I'd be happy to do the copy-editing and get you refs, though.--Fuen Fuboo 17:03, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

Luminous Arc?

You mentioned that you were waiting to get the game the other day, so I was wondering if you'd like to put the article together as we play through--I'll be getting the game over the weekend and should be able to catch up relatively quickly. If not...I'll just work with you anyway. XD--Fuen Fuboo 23:37, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

The Lufia Page

I'm working on the page for Lufia: The Legend Returns, the GBC game. Right now it has boatloads too much information because I went overboard on adding things in. The way that I write both for school and in my personal life is to write everything I can and then cut out big chunks, leaving what's needed. So...for now the article looks excessive, but by the time I'm done it's going to be a fine length. Since nobody else cares about the game much I'm the only one doing the editing, which is fine with me. It'll be done in time.--Fuen Fuboo 13:18, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

It is really long, but once I get done with it it'll be fine. ^_^ I'd ask you to help, but all that's really left is finishing up the story of the game and then taking my sledgehammer and pick and hacking away while laughing maniacally. It's kind of a one-man show. ...and, like I said, I don't know how to make pages, so I don't have a Userpage. Besides, I don't have anything particularly interesting to put on one. Thanks for worrying about it, though!--Fuen Fuboo 17:49, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

Thank You

666-chan, thanks for making me a userpage. That will make your talk page much more uniform now that my links won't stand out anymore. Now, how do I add all the little rectangles that have things about what I like and who I am and all? I want to put about 1000 on there.

Thanks for saying I'm cooler than everyone. I feel the love.--Fuen Fuboo 02:02, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
