MKT and Texas Special

I have an article that says the Texas Special was started in 1915 and became a joint MKT/Frisco operation during WWI when the railroads were temporarily nationalized under the United States Railroad Administration (USRA). After the war Frisco saw the advantage of maintaining the joint venture. This is from "Passenger Train Journal", Feb. 1984.
The named passenger trains that the Katy ran before 1915 were the Katy Limited and the Katy Flyer. I haven't found any information about them to be able to create their apges. I have made a request to the Katy Railroad Historical Society for information but haven't received a reply yet.
