License tagging for Image:Map ofwhizzgolocation.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Map ofwhizzgolocation.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Non-free use disputed for Image:Whizzgo Logo.jpg

edit
  This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Whizzgo Logo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted after seven days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:17, 5 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Whizzgo Logo.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 12:31, 14 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Rationale for roll-back?

edit

Hi Estelle. I was wondering what about the text I wrote was so objectionable that you felt you had to change it back? It read, and continues to read, like an advertisement to me. Additionally, you're managing to replace good syntax with bad: United Kingdom, London doesn't exist, whereas Leeds, United Kingdom does. Oh, and while I'm at it, the WhizzGo website claims that they're based and registered in Leeds, not London. Wooster (talk) 15:10, 25 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

WhizzGo

edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of WhizzGo, and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Whizzgo. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 14:28, 2 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
