Blanking warnings

Rather than blank warnings on your talk page, please address them. They aren't left for no reason, and if you continue doing the same kind of things that lead to them in the first place without addressing them or making any changes in your behavior, you will be blocked. --Cyde Weys 15:30, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

How do I address the issue? Is there someone I can ask about this? What I blanked were automatically generated warnings about images I uploaded. I've uploaded a few album covers, and I can see there's a place to mark that the image is an album cover. What about promotional photos? I uploaded one of Peter Carey, and that seems to have been ok. I uploaded one of Sandin Wilson, and someone removed it stating it was had an incompatable license. Sandin is the copyright owner, and he gave permission. That was what I stated when I uploaded the image, so I'm not sure why it was removed. I'm not sure about the Steven Dietz image. I thought I put that it was a promotional photo (like the Carey photo), but that was removed while that Carey was not. It's a little confusing for me. I'd like to keep contributing, and I want to stay within the rules. If there is anything that would describe the use of promotional images a little better, please let me know. I'm a little bewildered by this deletion, and I need to know if you were in fact the author of this image and also what was its licence. The reason I inquire about this is that I uploaded the image to another website providing it there with the licence the image showed here at that time, i.e. cc-by-sa-3.0. __meco (talk) 09:38, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
