Is this where we're saving everything?JIDC18 (talk) 20:25, 9 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, we'll have everything saved on my sandbox. We'll just add everyone's part on here. Esms10 (talk) 20:26, 9 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

So...Yogurty's can't work out due to the fact it goes against too many of wikipedia's guidelines.Esms10 (talk) 18:54, 10 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

We can just do recreational drug use, under drugs.Esms10 (talk) 20:25, 10 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

And...topic change for like the third time? Massari it is. He doesn't have many references or contents and articles. We can definitely clean it up and add more.JIDC18 (talk) 20:45, 14 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

hey guys now that we have a topic lets post the sources here :)Christinebabe (talk) 20:56, 14 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Let's figure out our contents first...I was thinking we should just redo the whole thing since there is only a few sentences for the overview and Massar's "career" is very disorganized. So some of the headings I'm thinking we can do are: Overview (the intro pretty much), Life and Career (edit the career stub already up), Artistry (include Influences and Musical Style as subheadings), Collaborations (it's already there on his wikipedia page),and that is all I can think of right now. Any other suggestions? Esms10 (talk) 23:17, 14 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Ya i agree, it'd be a lot easier to just rewrite the whole page. It sucks that we couldn't do the Yogurty's page because we were practically done and had all the information we needed. Anyways, I found a good link that helps with the biography portion of the wikipedia page http://artists.letssingit.com/massari-2kvgz/biography . I guess i can work on the life and career content of the page. I'll post it as soon as I'm done.JIDC18 (talk) 01:41, 15 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Okay, sounds good! Try using what is already on the wikipedia page. You might benefit from the article already there, or even take a lok at some of the sites they referenced. I'm going to do Artistry. I found a few sites about his influences which seem to be accurate and trustworthy. Also, Jess make sure you post what you finish in my sandbox, not on here. This is the talkpage...here's the link to my sandbox: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Esms10/sandbox&action=edit&preload=Template%3AUser_sandbox%2Fpreload&editintro=Template%3AUser_sandbox Esms10 (talk) 01:48, 15 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Oh btw, Sharon and Christine, the two headings left are the overview of the whole wikipedia page and the collaborations part which is already under the contents. Let us know what you guys want to do! Esms10 (talk) 01:50, 15 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

http://www.facebook.com/massarionline/notes This website (his Facebook page) includes a lot of international events that Massari was in. If it helps any of you guys with your part, use it! You'll find a lot of information on thereJIDC18 (talk) 03:28, 15 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

http://www.spokeo.com/Massari+1 This website has a timeline of Massari since 2001-present. JIDC18 (talk) 03:48, 15 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Jess haha I found this in the sandbox! I think you meant to put it here: I am going to work on the life and career of Massari. I'll use the stuff that's already on the wikipedia page and i'll also look at the different links they have referenced because they may help me expand on the paragraphJIDC18 (talk) 01:52, 15 August 2012 (UTC).... Esms10 (talk) 03:49, 15 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

I'm going to play around with the sandbox to see how you can add in references...so don't mind any of the information I have there, I'm just testing it out. Esms10 (talk) 03:52, 15 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

good job guys so far !! im going to start researching more atm and see what i can help write then :) Christinebabe (talk) 00:51, 16 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

I just finished my part! How are we gonna show what we've changed? Is one of us going to highlight all of the changes that have been made?

Sari Abboud is better known by his stage name Massari. (4) Massari (pronounced “Ma-ssa-ree”) is an arabic translation of the word money. (1) The 26 year old Sagittarius started off as a dreamer with a talented soul. (1) He is the eldest brother of three; born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon- until he moved to Montreal with his family at the age of 10. At the age of 13, he and his younger brothers, Sami and Samer, moved to Ottawa, Ontario- where he attended Hillcrest High School. (2) Massari states that his background (Lebanese) influences his music as most of his songs contain middle-eastern Arabic melodies. (1) At a young age, he was influenced by pop singers like: Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, and Arabic singer George Wassouf. (1) He learned that music does not discriminate, but instead unites us. (1)

He started his musical career in 2001-2002. (4) He released his first song “Spitfire” (2002) which was aired on Ottawa radio stations. (4) On 14 November 2007, Massari and the record label, CP Records, came to a mutual agreement to end their relationship due to contractual and financial disputes. (7) During 2009, he released two tracks from the forthcoming album, namely "Bad Girl" and "Body Body". (8) The album itself Forever Massari was officially released on Universal Records Canada on 10 November 2009. It included songs by writers and producers like Rupert Gayle, Alex Greggs, Derek Brin, Rob Wells and Justin Forsley. Jess, put it in my sandbox and BOLD the things you didn't change. So, if you used something already in the article before we edit it, just bold it in yours so I know! I'll highlight because I'm sending Harrison the documents ! Esms10 (talk) 02:40, 16 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

I finished the overview!

Massari, a Canadian R&B, pop, and hip hop singer of Lebanese origin.Massari (مصاري) means "money" in colloquial Arabic. He was born in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, on December 10, 1980. His birth name is Sari Abboud (Arabic: ساري عبّود‎). [1] When Massari was 10 years old, he and his family relocated to Montreal, Quebec. His cultural and social upbringing shaped his unique musical style. [2] His music combines Middle Eastern melodies with western culture. And audiences find this unique style is so refreshing.

Massari started his musical career in 2001-2002. He has had a number of hit singles in Canada, the Middle East and internationally. In 2002, he released a demo for "Spitfire" that received good airplay on local radio. Afterwards, he released a self-titled album Massari in 2005. In 2009, he released two tracks from the forthcoming album, namely "Bad Girl" and "Body Body". In the same year, his second album Forever Massari was officially released. Now he is working on his third album scheduled for release in 2012. [3]
