A tag has been placed on Cottage cheese pasta, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD A1.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. --ROGER DAVIES TALK 23:53, 18 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello from a fellow editor

edit

Hello, Eskimodia. I posted on this talk page recently to let you know that a page you created, Túrós csusza is up for deletion. Well, that may have been a bit unfriendly, so I wanted to let you know more about my reasoning. It isn't personal or anything like that. It's just that, as written, the article doesn't fit with the guidelines set out for Wikipedia. Currently, it reads like a recipe, and recipes are part of what Wikipedia is not.

Now, that doesn't mean we can't have articles about foods on Wikipedia. In fact, there are plenty you can find in this category of foods. And if Túrós csusza is a notable and important dish in your culture, an article on it would make a great addition to Wikipedia. Right now, however, there are a lot of problems with the article. I've put it up for deletion, but if you think we should keep it, you can stop the deletion process. Just put a {{hangon}} tag on the article, then go to the Article for Deletion page and let the other editors there know why you want it to stay.

Regardless of how this works out, I wish you the best in your future editing. Welcome to Wikipedia. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
