Proposed deletion of Alarippu

edit

The article Alarippu has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unreferenced for nearly three years, fails WP:V

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Stifle (talk) 21:15, 22 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please sign your posts on talk pages

On Talk:George Washington you didn't sign your post with the four tildes (these things-->> ~). Signing your posts on talk pages helps keep responses straight and is a Wikipedia Talk page guideline. Shearonink (talk) 13:28, 26 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Sorry about that. I will sign it from now one. user:eshaparvathi (Did I do it right)?

I'm not sure what you did up above but it's almost right. You need to put four (4) tildes at the end of your post. Like this -> ~~~~. Tildes are the little squiggly lines up at the top of a Quertyuiop-style keyboard, the tilde key is right next to the numbers keys at the top left of the keyboard. The four tildes are Wikicode that tell the system to put the poster's account name and the time/date-stamp on the post. Take a look at WP:SIGNATURE, WP:TALKPAGE and WP:TALK for more info. I put four tildes at the end of this post and the system here on Wikipedia turned that code into my signature with a time/date-stamp ->> Shearonink (talk) 21:04, 27 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
