Removed comment from wrong section edit

Hi Endomorphic. I removed the following comment by you from the 0.999... arguments page because it was clearly in the wrong section, and I'm not sure where it was supposed to go. I'll leave it to you to restore it in the intended spot.

Sorry, JohnLattier, my earlier comment was a little harsh. All I meant was that your views will never see the light of day via a Wikipedia article. How about this: the first step in learning is admitting you're wrong. A good step towards that is entertaining the posibility that you might be wrong. Rather than trying to build another explination for a conclusion you want to retain, why not write down what irks you about 0.999...=1, or which lines in which proofs you don't understand? That way, instead of "NO!" you might recieve some usefull information. I suggest you search this page for (other) occurances of "ice cream" and read that post if you haven't already. Belated Welcome! edit

Hello, Endomorphic, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for joining. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page.

You may want to consider creating a user page (it's nice to know something about people one interacts with), and working not only on talk pages, but on articles as well (that's what we're all ultimately here for, right?).

Again, welcome! -- Meni Rosenfeld (talk) 21:17, 13 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
