Welcome! edit

Hello, Emreculha, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page Vítor Pereira (football manager) has not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and has been or will be removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. August 2016 edit

Hello, I'm Wesley Mouse. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Türkvizyon Song Contest 2016, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Wes Mouse  02:17, 22 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 05:58, 6 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Copying from MetaWiki edit

Hello, my name is Wesley Wolf, and you recently made a contribution to Eurovision Song Contest 2017, which I would like to issue my sincere gratitude. However, in your edit summary you stated the content was copied from Turkish Wikipedia. Wikipedia's licensing requires that attribution be given to all users involved in creating and altering the content of a page, when copying text within Wikipedia. You edit did not provide the mandatory attribution of the author who created the original content on the Turkish language version. It would be helpful if you could provide the author of the original content, so that attribution can be given. Thank you. Wes Wolf Talk 17:16, 14 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Heyy.. I forgot this...I created this scoreboard in Turkish version,for this i didnt need this..If i will make again i wont forget..Thank you too---Emreculha (talk) 17:21, 14 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
I've moved the post from my talk page onto yours (see above). As I posted here, it makes sense to keep the conversation in one place. As for the attribution, I have placed a template on Talk:Eurovision Song Contest 2017. I can add your user name as the author, if you wish? Wes Wolf Talk 17:29, 14 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Your edit on Baklava edit

Hello. Please do not make changes like this, changing "Ottoman Empire" to "Ottoman Empire (Turkey)". Turkey is not synonymous with the Ottoman Empire, but only one of several successor states to the empire, regardless of what the current opinion about it is in Turkey. - Tom | Thomas.W talk 14:23, 2 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Extended-confirmed required edit

It has come to my attention that you have recently started to edit in articles related to Armenia and Azerbaijan. This editing area is under a community imposed extended-confirmed restriction, specifically "Politics, ethnic relations, and conflicts involving Armenia, Azerbaijan, or both—broadly construed and explicitly including the Armenian genocide—are placed under an extended confirmed restriction." Your number of edits is below the threshold for editing in the area, thus you cannot currently edit in articles and content under the scope of WP:GS/AA. Please refrain from doing so, any edits you have done since this restriction was implemented should be reverted, I will take the liberty of reverting wherever it's appropriate. - Kevo327 (talk) 06:54, 25 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

First of all, since I expressed my opinion on the discussion page, I will report this situation to other users due to the restriction you imposed due to "nationalist feelings".
I have no contribution to the English article anyway, but what you are doing is completely against Wikipedia's principle of neutrality. Emreculha (talk) 07:10, 25 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
