Hello and welcome to my talk page!
I think one way of enhancing wikipedia as a valuable resource to its users is by increasing the availability of information not easily available elsewhere. This realization came from the experience of looking something up that peaked my interest, only to be frustrated by finding little or nothing of help on the topic, a not uncommon experience! While there is no shortage of articles available on say Mozart or Perlman, there is a lack of coverage of other composers or performers, such as Toselli or Chiara, who are certainly less well-known but still notable in their own right. Wikipedia allows me to help address this by focusing my contributions primarily on those that "dwelt among th' untrodden ways" so to speak.
Please let me know if there are any composers or musical performers who you believe fit in this category and I will try my best to write something on them as soon as I can.
Please also feel free to post here if you have any questions, or comments that you think would be helpful.
Hi there. I notice you've read the comments earlier, but I still see no claim of notability for the quartet in your article (Just calling something 'world class' or 'notable' isn't going to cut it - you really should be able to point to some specific achievements, hopefully something that passes the WP:MUSIC guidelines, that can be factually verified). I've therefore taken the liberty of proposing it be speedily deleted. If you still feel this group are notable, please attach a {{hangon}} tag to the article and fix the article, (if you get to it in time), or recreate the article with some claims of notability, (if you don't). Wei Xiong Wang
editI have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Wei Xiong Wang, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. --Nlu (talk) 21:47, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

editHello, just thought I'd drop you a note about Marisa Robles. You changed the category from Category:Spanish classical harpists to Category:Harpists, but I've changed it back - the guidelines for categorizing musicians set out here indicate that one should use nationality and genre as well as instrument, not just instrument.
