Okondjatu Okondjatu is a small village located 50km from Okakarara it has the population of less than 100 people living there. Okondjatu is dominated by the Otjiherero speaking people the other tribe also present but in a very small number. Okondjatu has small surrounding area such as, Okamapingo, Okamaruru, and Orunahi, all this three area are in Okondjatu vicinity. Okondjatu is where the dissatisfaction over the official handling of stock theft started known as epango. This epango is the organize group of people that are looking after the stock in Okakarara constituency. Okondjatu is one of the places where the auction is held in Okakarara constituency. Okondjatu has many Ministries offices that are doing extension work to those neighbouring area. Okondjatu is not proclaiming to be a town yet it does not have a mayor yet.
