Dzoti conservancy

Dzoti conservancy is a conservancy situated inMalengalenga area in the caprivi region . it is situated near the Linyanti river that borders us with Bostwana.it is located in the same area as Mamili national park which is a sign that it going to survive for a long period of time as the national park has survived for more than a decade. it is onne of the conservancieswhere you can find animals that contribute to the revenue of our country and these are animals like the elephants, the rhinos and many more. futher more dzoti conservancy is located ner y wuparo conservancy that is also having alot af animals like the bufallo,kudus. it is a good place to see the animals and to also do hunting. Dzoti conservancy was gazzeted in 2010 and regisred as one of the conservancies in namibia.

Despite the fact it is contributing to the revenue of the country by getting funds from the troughy hunter it is a problem to the people of malengalenga community as they have to run away from their fields during the culvating season. the animals are also now becoming a stumbling block to the learners of the community as they end up misssing classes some days, because on many occassions they they get the most dangerous animals blocking their way to school and this is slowing their education . it is also going to nincrease the number of deaths caused by elephants as the wild animals are left to room around the whole area without being harmed. at times the wild animals like lion and hynas will come in the villages to come and kill domestic animals like cattle and goats, and this is one of themajor problem that the peasant farmers of that area are facing.

It is a previllage to have a community that is still willing to accept a conservancy with its distavantages and after the what the community has gone through.In the previous years the Malengalenga area have seen people that have lost their lives, that werelilled by elephants and it is a pity for them because they might face something which is worse than what they exprienced in the past from the wild animals when they never had a conservancy. This is a good thing as it reserves animals for the future generation of our country.
