edit@EliseSembach: Wow. You've really done quite a lot. And you've written a ton!
Here are a couple pointers:
- There are basically no in-line citations or references. You should add those!
- Some of your paragraphs are extremely long. I'd break it up a little bit.
- I think it's not really normal to have the title of the article bold faced outside of the WP:LEDE.
- You should also add more citations in general!
In any case, you should take a look at this list of suggestions for polishing your article which is a helpful set of ideas from altsalt. Many won't apply but some might.
