March 2015 edit

Hello, I'm Bonadea. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Alltwalis Wind Farm seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 09:34, 31 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your message on my user talk page! I was actually reading up on the noise issues at Alltwalis windfarm and adding some information about it to the article, as you were messaging me. I've added a couple of sentences about it, with two of the sources you provided; the third one is probably also a reliable source but I wasn't quite sure, so I didn't add that one at this point.
You are more than welcome to continue editing the article. The only thing to keep in mind is that however aggravating the situation is, we're not allowed to add anything that looks like a personal opinion unless you are quoting a reliable source (so you might write something like "Rhodri Glyn Thomas, Member of the National Assembly, stated that 'This situation simply can not continue.'", but you can't add "This situation simply can not continue." as a factual statement - if that makes sense.)
I have to admit that it makes me rather sad that those sources are several years old, and the situation is apparently still bad for the residents. --bonadea contributions talk 10:24, 31 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi, Many thanks for taking the time to look into, and edit this for me. That's much appreciated!! Yes it is a sad situation,I have recently moved back to the area to be close to family and found my new home affected by noise from the site. Its a low frequency noise that is really disturbing at night, and at other times when it is at it's worst. There are a number of local groups against the large number of further turbine applications that have been made in the area. Sadly we don't have the funds to raise awareness of these issues. The planning system and local council are leaving it up to individuals to make any legal challenges. I guess this is the society we live in today!!
