Erin, good start. Have you and Maggie developed a plan to expand/combine your article yet? I thought you might consider a section just for the revolt itself, rather than lumping into the background section, and get into more specifics. Try to make the background section flow better as well. You say the revolts were just happening, but then you discuss the background in the second paragraph and this structure is a little awkward. One area you might get more into depth is the aftermath section and the revolt itself: what is the content of the revolt and ideas being expressed.
