Re:China Care Foundation

edit

Hi Ed. I'm not sure what happened with your colleague's edits. You can see the history of the page here (you can see the history of any page by hitting the "history" tab at the top of the page). This shows that the last person to edit was me reverting edits by an IP address yesterday. There's no trace of an edit being made today. If your colleague had an account and can let me know what it is I can look at what she did edit (you can too - on a user's page look down the boxes on the left hand side and click the link that says "user contributions").

Sorry I can't be more use on this particular issue - but feel free to ask more questions! Happy editing. -- SiobhanHansa 22:17, 19 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

I've just had a thought - it may be that the servers were overwhelmed. There are occasionally blips with the server and I've had some trouble today with a few pages. I've never lost edits through this, there are always warning messages but they're not the best and I could imagine a new user might not realize what was happening. -- SiobhanHansa 22:21, 19 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Just noticed the question re:logo. Users can't upload images until they've been registered for a short period of time and made a certain number of edits (I can't remember the exact numbers involved) so you're probably just shy of those requirements. If you can point me at it on the web I can upload it. -- SiobhanHansa 01:49, 20 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Done. You can find the actual image page here. And I've added it to the info box on the article. You might also want to take a look at the talk page - someone from the China Care Foundation turned up and asked for deletion.... -- SiobhanHansa 22:34, 20 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
