In respect of the Other project... edit

As the other wiki seems to be down.. I am sort of calling the project dead temporarily, you may wish to remove User:Editor at Large/WikiCast or integrate it back into your other pages ShakespeareFan00 14:15, 5 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

WP:ADOPT input edit

Hello, Editor at Large. The Adopt-a-User program is looking for new ideas and input on the program. If you are still interested please stop by the talk page and read some of the ideas being floated and give a comment. If you want to update or change your information on the adopter's list page, now would be a great time! Thanks! V60 干什么? · VDemolitions 03:42, 7 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

It's my day today! edit

Hi E@L, if you look at Phaedriel's page today, you'll find that she has chosen to celebrate me today! May she soon celebrate you too. --Kyoko 16:24, 10 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image:Sylmurbel.jpg edit

Hello Editor at Large, an automated process has found an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, such as fair use. The image (Image:Sylmurbel.jpg) was found at the following location: User:Editor at Large/Thank you. This image or media will be removed per statement number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. The image that was replaced will not be automatically deleted, but it could be deleted at a later date. Articles using the same image should not be affected by my edits. I ask you to please not re-add the image to your userpage and could consider finding a replacement image licensed under either the Creative Commons or GFDL license or released to the public domain. Thanks for your attention and cooperation. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 21:41, 17 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I hope you don't mind, I've replaced the image in {{User:Editor at Large/Thank you}} (which is still transcluded in some places) with something more Ayelie-like than a copyright notice. Replace it if you want, though. Hope to see you soon! Will (We're flying the flag all over the world) 22:00, 17 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
I know, but it's not just you who's uploaded an image in good faith under the wrong license, so don't worry :) All the best, Will (We're flying the flag all over the world) 17:36, 18 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Oops, I thought that you uploaded the image. Sorry for the confusion, no offence meant. Will (We're flying the flag all over the world) 19:15, 18 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Happy Ayelie's day! edit

Editor at Large has been identified as an Awesome Wikipedian,
and therefore, I've officially declared today as Ayelie's day!
For being such a beautiful person and great Wikipedian,
enjoy being the Star of the day, dear Ayelie!

Love,
Phaedriel

A record of your Day will always be kept here.

Congratulations, you deserve it! I'd write more, but I'm quite busy right now. Have a great day! --Kyoko 01:28, 21 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Another awesome Wikipedian. Maybe if Phaedriel expands to Commons, she can give you another "Awesome Commons User" award. Happy E@L Day! bibliomaniac15 01:31, 21 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Woohoo! :) – Riana 01:38, 21 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
I totally endorse this. You're one of the nicest, sweetest Wikipedians I've ever met. You might even give Sharon a run for her money :P Will (We're flying the flag all over the world) 02:05, 21 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I hardly deserve it, but thanks everyone!   (P.S. Sceptre, I highly doubt that ... she's in a league all her own!)Editor at Large(speak) 15:59, 21 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

On the subject of kindness, thanks for all of the kindness you showed me several months ago. Very appreciated, but I don't think I thanked you, apart from a mass RAoK barnstar. Thanks anyway. (and if you think touchpads are bad, TrackPoints are worse.) Will (We're flying the flag all over the world) 17:14, 21 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Dear Ayelie edit

Sweet, dear Ayelie, it is a mystery to me why our paths didn't cross prior to this moment... in any case, regrettable as the time we've lost, we can surely make up for that, because in a very real sense (and with so many excellent friends in common!) we need little introducing ;) I won't say anything new when I tell you, I consider you one of the kindest and sweetest Wikipedians, and I won't even mention the superb quality of your work because that's so evident that needs not to be said here. But everything pales when it comes to thank you for all the light and generosity of your spirit, which is inspiring, and leaves me in awe. Your beautiful words for me and my daughter are much, much appreciated, and confirm what a lovely, golden heart you have in that little chest of yours.
I know you're not much around these days, but I hope you don't mind if I come visit you. There's nothing I want more than our new found friendship to grow, and grow, and grow :) Love you dear Ayelie! :) Phaedriel - 05:31, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Just popping by edit

Hey Ayelie, I was just popping by and thought I might invite myself in. Hope things are okay with you, except for your dodgy internet connection (I just transferred to wireless :( ). Anyway, things are as weird as can be, if you get my drift. Talk to you online sometimes soon, and get enough sleep! With love, --Ali K 22:38, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Support for a friend of mine edit

Please give K. Lastochka a word or two of encouragement as she is going thru a hard time with a WikiBully right about now. Thank you. —  $PЯINGrαgђ  17:15, 24 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

a smile for you edit

Hello, Editor at Large/Archives/May 2007! You have been given this message in recognition of all you have done for Wikipedia, and also just for being you. Wikipedia's greatest strength is its contributors, and you are a valued and important part of that. I hope that this message has brightened your day, and that it encourages you to spread the WikiLove. Thanks again for your contributions, and have a good day!

Hi Ayelie, here is my own personal smile message that I created last night. I hope you like it. Thanks for all you've done, for me personally, for our mutual friends, and for Wikipedia in general. Love, Kyoko 13:45, 25 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Hi Ayelie, thanks for the smile! I didn't mean for my message to be a "swift kick", as you say, just a greeting. I think of you every day as well, and I hope that in the rush of things, you get some time to relax. I'm doing fine right now, just a bit busy at times, which is why I haven't been editing quite as often. Thanks for the smile, and likewise, if you ever need to speak to someone, I'm here for you. Love, Kyoko 14:10, 25 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
I get what you mean, but kicking is not my style, you know. :) <3 Kyoko 14:22, 25 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

User:Editor at Large/Sandbox edit

Are the userboxes supposed to straddle the border? In any case, good work, I love it! Are you sure you're not Sharon? :P (Very nice, administrators on a Wikimedia project, very proficient with CSS, need I go on?) Will (We're flying the flag all over the world) 23:41, 25 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Oh no, Will! You've just discovered the truth we've tried so hard to hide - Ayelie is my long lost twin sister! :) (Fantastic work on the userpage, A - it's without the slightest hint of doubt the best one I've ever seen!) Phaedriel - 22:13, 26 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

nice userpage! edit

Hi Ayelie, when you said, "While I always loved my burgundy, gold, black, and creme colours it has been a good year now, and I am starting to tire of it.", I didn't expect you to do something so drastic, but I like love the result! It looks new and fresh.

You're starting to make me wonder if I should modify my page. I hope you're well! Love, Kyoko 12:02, 26 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, great job! Are you doing to redo your talkpage to match? That'll be the last remnants of my old userpage gone :) Either way, very cool, it goes with your Commons page now! Take care, Riana 09:47, 27 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Hey, the new pic makes your list of contributions hide under the little 'images' box, at least at my screenres. Thought you might like to know... ;) Love, Riana 16:46, 31 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Hi Ayelie, I like the new picture! Is that a new Wikipe-tan? One thing though: as Riana says, on my screen, if I run Firefox fullscreen, the box with the icons partially overlaps the list of your major contributions. Love, --Kyoko 04:12, 1 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hrm. It looks fine for me, I am not sure why that would happen.... feel free to fix it so it shows up for you, I can't get it to not work! And yes Kyoko it's a new one; Kasuga drew it upon Bastique's request. The adult Commons-tan with a camera :) — Editor at Large(speak) 04:20, 1 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

I just changed the "float" from none to center, but now it overlaps the list of interests when you shrink the window too much. The proportions of the page don't look right either. Maybe you should ask Phaedriel. Sorry, Kyoko 04:35, 1 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
Hm. I was having that problem in IE, where the images box wasn't centering. I think it is because I used a fixed pixel margin to center it... it looks like this for me. I'll see if I can fix using a percentage. -- Editor at Largetalk 19:25, 1 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
Argh. I fixed it. I had made the center bit an absolute-positioned table floating over a table with two columns and had placed it using a set margin... I made it a table within a table's middle column instead. Much easier, I don't know why I made it so complicated to begin with. Does it show up for everyone fine now? -- Editor at Largetalk 23:05, 1 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

A star for you edit

Because before now I've only given you one award. May there be many more. :) —  $PЯINGrαgђ  17:16, 27 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
