I thought I could put what I wanted on my own talk page? Guess I need to read the rules...

eeecurrency

edit

I don't know if you saw my comment on the eeecurrency talk page prior to its deletion, so I'll repeat it here...

"From the moment you start an article, you should be providing references for what you write, and these must be from Reliable sources - e.g. independent journalism in authoritative publications, no blog or forum posts and nothing based on material written by the subject. If you cannot find such sources, then the topic is not notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia."

Just out of interest, do you consider eeecurrency to be legitimate? From looking at their website, I would conclude that it is a scam, and a poorly produced one:

  • There is no such thing as an LLC in New Zealand
  • Why do they say "our office in Panama City" when the only address they list is in NZ.
  • Too many grammatical errors.
  • No serious business website would use comic sans!
  • Would you put money into anything that has a policy of not investigating any disappearances from your account?
  • An institution expects to be able to pay 36.5% PA on the basis of website ad revenue?

Thank you for those insights.

Ineffectively run does not mean "scam". We appreciate the insight and we appreciate the feed back.

  • eeeCurrency.com is actually the name of the System and Website owned by NetworkOf.com, Inc.
  • NetworkOf.com, Inc. is a Nevis Corporation with administrative offices originally in Panama, but now in New Zealand
  • The Management Company running day to day operations is a U.S. LLC with THEIR Administrative office in NZ. We didn't state that eeeCurrency was.
  • You are the 1st to comment on the Comic Sans Font, and at the time eeeCurrency.com was created, it fit the atmosphere of eeeCurrency.com's primary users.
  • eeeCurrency.com long ago stopped Interest on user Accounts. Currency Account holders know this. At the time it was effective, it was not derived from Ad revenue and eeeCurrency.com never stated it was.
  • Also, eeeCurrency.com has never said that abuse of the eeeCurrency.com would not be investigated.

Although we are a niche market Transaction System, and your comments seems to be intentionally aligned against eeeCurrency and eeeCurrency.com for whatever reason (with out contacting us), we will extract constructive criticism from it to improve our system and public image.

I have just responded to your latest comments on my talk page - I hadn't been watching your page, and reading your comments above, I see that you also have a Conflict of Interest regarding eeecurrency. Contributors are expected to refrain from editing articles about themselves/organisations in which they are involved. dramatic (talk) 22:50, 26 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
I retract the stement about the COI, I had interpreted the statements above as being from you rather than you pasting a response received from eeecurrency management. dramatic (talk) 03:03, 28 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your comments, Dramatic

Your interest is based on eeecurrency's reference to New Zealand. That was your impetus for doing your internet reading about them.

Besides using the VPN services of one of their merchants, my impetus leading to my contribution is my experience and involvement in the "eCurrency" or Digital Currency arena (thus my name) and with eeeCurrency as a consumer and account holder and is just one of the sources of my zeal about this subject. After all, I took my time and experience to come up with the facts I have, so being put up for deletion was a bit upsetting.
