Kumru Kocaman's Peer Review

edit

Lead Section

The article was almost complete, and there is no need to change the lead section since Emmy is editing a specific section instead of the entire page. The section Emmy is editing for this class has an excellent start with an informative definition.

Structure

The structure is good and has a natural flow that doesn`t bother the reader. The section starts with a definition followed by an overview of the criteria of habitability. The following text discussed the most important criteria (Temperature, energy source and water) and related concepts. I prefer a subtitle for paragraph two to make it easier for fast(and lazy) readers.

Balance

The section is well-balanced, and no part discusses a specific topic unnecessarily in detail.

Neutral content

The section is written with bias-free language. There is no sign of emotional statements or subjective opinions.

References/Scientific Accuracy

The facts given in the section were cited properly with reliable peer-reviewed articles. All the links for the references are active (no broken links).

Other Comments

Unless you zoom into the figure, it is not easy to read the text on the figure. The text on the figure will be more readable if you enlarge the font and remove the bold. I love the colors selected.

I would add more Wiki links for the next part of the project, especially for the criteria paragraphs.

Some of the initial sentences seem too long to me. However, I am not a native speaker and dealing with a TBI, so my reading is not great these days. – so this is a biased opinion 😊 KumruKocaman (talk) 20:18, 6 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
