AfD nomination of Peta (cat)

edit

I have nominated Peta (cat), an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Peta (cat). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Mm40|Talk|Sign|Review 01:02, 4 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

The deletion of your article

edit

A suggestion I would have for you is to add some outside sources- the link you'd put in and removed (I re-added it so that it would work) is a great start; any more news references, book references, etc. would help convince those involved that the cat is notable. Have a look at these pages: WP:V, WP:RS, and most importantly, WP:N. FYI, read WP:CITE#Footnotes to see how the REF tags work. You needed another tag to make the link appear, as the setup is designed for footnotes. Cheers, JeremyMcCracken (talk) (contribs) 03:33, 4 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
