Mustering all my good faith, could I inform you that the blurb for the quoted book contains the phrase "The papers assembled in Herbert Read Reassessed", proving indeed it was a paper. If you can find a reference to "historian and lecturer" it will be most welcome but as thing stand perhaps it is best I remove it. Please only add verifiable material.
