...operating at 4 K...

Re: "...operating at 4 K...", shouldn't there be a degree symbol? --Guy Macon (talk) 00:13, 16 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

No, see kelvin. SpinningSpark 00:45, 16 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
Ah. I learned that long ago but it had slipped my mind. See [ http://physics.nist.gov/cuu/pdf/sp811.pdf ] section 4.2.1.1. I personally think it was rather dumb to use the same letter to signify kelvin and to signify 1024 bytes, but I doubt that the International System of Quantities cares what I think. :( --Guy Macon (talk) 04:16, 16 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Input microwave frequency vs voltage

edit

hi, thanks for the good work in explaining such a standard. It nowhere escapes me how you get 10V from 20208 junctions, and what microwave frequency is applied. Finally, but the beyond the subject, why isn't a Cesium or Rubidium frequency standard directly used? Could it bring even more accuracy? 178.193.249.141 (talk) 19:03, 22 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
