Hi. Can you please read the discussion at Talk:Jüri Vips and then revert your recent edit? Wikipedia is not censored and there has not been a compelling argument made so far in order to change the wording in the article. -"Ghost of Dan Gurney" 17:36, 28 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

I wished to highlight to you that you must not remove sourced content on your own presumption that it is "unnecessary information" like you did at Belmont Academy. It maybe "unnecessary information" to you, but perhaps not to other readers. In the future, please open a discussion on the respective articles talk page for discussion prior to removing large sections of an article. Thank you. I'm sorry if there has been any confusion, but I removed detailed explanation of what subjects each block was used for in the old school building (that has not existed since before 2006). I thought that this was too detailed according to the article guide here - it says not to include "detail of each building, its classrooms, or equipment". Also, the only references this information has are primary sources that don't even back up what has been written. I apologise if I am mistaken, but I don't think this counts as the content being 'sourced'.
In addition to this, you have reverted my edits to the wording of the article. I would have appreciated if you had looked at what I changed and only reverted the bits you didn't like, because now the article is back to being quite badly written, overly verbose and difficult to understand. Again, according to the article guide there is no need to repeatedly write about the school houses changing -- one short paragraph is enough. The references are also a mess now. The problem is though, that the edits you made, particularly at Ayr Academy, were not regarding the details of the building, but sourced information about the catchment area, a topic wholly relevant to the article. Goodreg3 (talk) 21:43, 1 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
Additionally, in regards to Belmont Academy, I appreciate what the schools guidance on articles stipulates, however, I would argue that the information provided on the original composition of the first school building is not excessive enough to warrant its entire removal. I agree, I apologise for removing it completely when I could have just shortened it. Thank you for your feedback.   Dvdmenu (talk) 21:55, 1 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
